Rep. Alan Grayson Cackles That Syrian Atrocities 'Simply Not Our Problem'

9/5/13 - The debate over military action in Syria has produced a landfill's worth of stupidity, from every side of the debate, and every corner of the political media. This is somewhat predictable, as we all know what opinions are like, but on Thursday night's All In with Chris Hayes, "Congressman with Guts™" Alan Grayson (D-FL) made a bold incursion, from stupid into contemptible.

Following his excellent interview with Secretary of State John Kerry, host Chris Hayes continued the media's current pastime of coaxing valueless opinions out of unqualified guests by interviewing Rep. Alan Grayson, who opposes the proposed military intervention in Syria. There are legitimate reasons to oppose the strike, as well as to support it, but Grayson's performance here was a very extreme example of what has been so wrong with much of the media's treatment of the Syria debate: a complete lack of seriousness or humility. If you'd like to see an example of seriousness and humility, check out the first half of this Chris Hayes commentary from Wednesday night, then slam your head on your desk.

You can watch the full Grayson segment here, but I don't have the time or the inclination to pick it all apart. It's chock full of genius. I just want you to watch what has to be the most ridiculous displays of callous arrogance in the history of cable news. Chris Hayes asked Grayson if there was anything in the interview with Secretary Kerry "that you find compelling or convincing?"

"Not at all," Grayson replied, with a thin smirk. "Listen, most people understand this is simply not our problem. This is not our problem to solve."

Hayes, to his credit, pushed back, although with characteristic understatement. "I have to say, that sounds morally obtuse to me."

"Sorry," Grayson replied, and with a cackle, added "I'm being totally honest."

He then went on to argue that the calls he's getting from constituents are running "100 to 1″ against the intervention. Whatever you think about Grayson's logic, which I will get to in a second, what the frack is he laughing about? What, exactly, is so funny about this? There doesn't seem to be much that people agree about with regard to Syria, but can't we at least find common ground in the notion that this is not a laughing matter?

As for Grayson's reading of the American public, he seems to be forgetting that the American people overwhelmingly supported military action in Iraq. Now, Grayson might point out that this was a result of misleading information, and he'd be right. However, aside from the fact that a significant chunk of the American public probably thinks Damascus is some kind of Halloween super-store, a certain amount of the erosion of public support for airstrikes could have something to do with people in the media telling them that this is just like Iraq.

NSA cracked most Online Encryption

The US National Security Agency has secretly developed encryption technology that billions of internet users rely to protect everything from email to financial transactions, according to media reports citing documents obtained by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden. The Guardian, The New York Times and journalistic nonprofit ProPublica reported on Thursday that the US National Security Agency has bypassed or altogether cracked much of the digital encryption used by businesses and everyday Web users. Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports.

Fukushima Meltdown Denial goes Main Stream STILL! UnFukushima Believable.

OK, here's the story the way I see it, boys and girls... Finally, after 2.5 YEARS, Main stream media decides to cover the story of a triple Nuclear Meltdown... reasoning the why do this, why do that, why not do this, what do we do scenario. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the massive ignorant sheep say "BbaaaHHhhhhh". Here's the the way I (personally) see the story unfolding. We all know (at least those of us who are aware) about Agenda 21. We all know about the depopulation agenda. For those of you who are new to the "awakening".

Syria War Vote is Overwhelmingly Negative, G-20 Summit, 10 Year Treasury and More

http://usawatchdog.com/weekly-news-wr... - It is apparent the overwhelming majority of Americans are against going to war in Syria. A special Senate committee voted 10 to 7 for military action. They are calling for the strike to "change momentum on the battlefield." Reports coming from legislators are extremely negative. Did you notice the 10-year Treasury this week--it hit 3%. Is the rest of the world dumping our bonds? I think so. Remember, with all this talk about another war in Syria, the U.S. still has many enormous budget issues. There is $17 trillion and growing in our deficit, and the debt ceiling is approaching. If we don't do something on both fronts, the government could be shut down, and it is possible we could default on our debt. At the very least, American credibility is taking a very big hit. Join Greg Hunter of USAWatchdog.com as he gives his analysis on these stories and more in the Weekly News Wrap-Up.

Could A Massive Blackout be The Next False Flag?

The electric grid, as government and private experts describe it, is the glass jaw of American industry. If an adversary lands a knockout blow, they fear, it could black out vast areas of the continent for weeks; interrupt supplies of water, gasoline, diesel fuel and fresh food; shut down communications; and create disruptions of a scale that was only hinted at by Hurricane Sandy and the attacks of Sept. 11.

Obama's Plan To Attack Syria MUCH BIGGER Than U.S. Citizens Are Being Lead To Believe!

Killing prisoners of war IS a WAR CRIME but that's not a red line I guess, unless it can be spun to be blamed on Assad somehow. Maybe the "Syrian Electronic Army" can be blamed for "faking" those videos by dressing up as rebels and dressing up rebels to look like Syrian army prisoners...

Passive Resistance ~ Syrians Form Human Shields Around 'US strike targets' 9-4-13

When your homeland is in total ruin, with no hope and no way of getting out, - with your enemy bent on invading you, by hook or by crook, justifiable or otherwise, one might as well resign to passive resistance. It is not a case of whether Assad is a great ruler or a despot, it is for the love of one's homeland. How sad.

In 2009, the Obama administration was instrumental in facilitating a free-trade deal that would have seen billions of dollars in commerce flow between the European Union and Syria, as WND was first to report that year.

The Godfather saga is clear on one point: the world of the mob has no exit.
Michael Corleone takes his family deeper and deeper into destruction.
Why? First of all, the Corleone life is crime. They cheat, lie, steal, intimidate and murder. No matter how attractive they are, that's what they do. It's the source of their wealth.

From that foundation, they venture out into the world and they find enemies. Competing families. They can try to broker peace and sign treaties, or they can attack.

People’s Inner Voice of Morality is Awakening as WW3 Becomes a Possibility – By Jason Liosatos

Our feelings are the most trustworthy guides we have.

We all possess an ethical and moral alarm bell, a barometer which let’s us know when something is right or wrong, helping us to intrinsically feel and sense it, and as a real possibility of WW3 now looms large, people everywhere are finally feeling, and realizing, that the US Government really are on an insane trajectory for world dominance which is now a very serious threat to humanity, not only in the Middle East, but globally, as our elected leaders look more and more like psychotic mental patients, megalomaniacs, and very dangerous sociopaths, as they frantically drag humanity towards the edge  of chaos. We are hearing them saying there will be a ‘tailored’ and ‘surgical’ strike on Syria, as though it is some kind of quick and easy adjustment to a garment, or a simple surgical removal of a wart or pimple with no consequences or repercussions. It is becoming obvious now that the US and other governments are seriously psychopathic, and a terrible threat to humanity, as their words and actions prove to us daily.

There is a beautiful system inbuilt in us, which tells us when we are in danger, and when there is a real threat to our well being. It is one of the many miraculous systems within us which creates a feeling, and that feeling is our answer. This is our ethical barometer and alarm bell which warns us, that our thoughts, words, behavior, choices, actions, or someone else’s, are not right, personally and globally. Whether we are saying hello to someone pleasantly or unpleasantly outside the post office, or planning to bomb another country.

We are born with this gift, it is no accident. Without it we would have destroyed ourselves long ago. It is like a moral and ethical compass which guides us and keeps pulling us back on course if and when we deviate from the path of truth and right action. It guides us in our every interaction with ourselves, other people, all other life forms, and the planet itself.

Our feelings are beautiful things that enable us to feel so many things, like deep love, beauty, joy, happiness, and an appreciation of the things all around us, a green field, a tree, the uplifting smell of grass, a river, the sun on our faces, the wind in our hair, the rain on our heads. Of course it can also let us feel the not so lovely things and is an early warning signal for danger around us, it is quite amazing.

This gift of deep knowing always tells the truth, but one of the biggest problems and threats facing us as humanity at the moment is that this miraculous truth telling gift is becoming more and more choked off, and its voice is getting fainter and fainter, as our ears are becoming more convinced by the lies we see and hear around us. It is as though our ethical and moral alarm bell has been disconnected. It is always present and working but the more we ignore it and turn a blind eye to it, then the less we care, the more danger we are in – Jason Liosatos www.jasonliosatos.com

Tokyo Olympic bid faces Fukushima concern
Members of Tokyo's Olympic bid committee have been questioned by journalists about contaminated water leaking from the stricken Fukushima nuclear power plant.
The host city for the 2020 games will be chosen on Saturday in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.
The Japanese committee members held a news conference in the city on Wednesday that was attended by about 100 journalists from more than 20 media outlets.
Bid committee president Tsunekazu Takeda said at the beginning that he hopes to spread the value of sports among young people by hosting an Olympics in Asia, home to more than 1 billion people.
4 out of the 6 questions asked were about the safety of Tokyo, in light of the radioactive water leak at the Fukushima plant.
Takeda responded saying Tokyo is safe in terms of radiation levels.
A British journalist said Tokyo officials only emphasize the city's safety but had still not answered the question. The reporter called it a grave problem that should be taken more seriously.
An American journalist expressed dissatisfaction with the answer and said the question will be asked repeatedly.
A reporter from an Argentine TV station said the Tokyo officials had answered the question sufficiently by saying the city is safe.

Leaked water may have reached groundwater
The operator of the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant says radioactive water that leaked from a storage tank may have reached groundwater.
Tokyo Electric Power Company says it detected high levels of radioactive substances in water collected on Wednesday at a monitoring well about 10 meters from the tank.
It says the water contained 650 becquerels per liter of beta-ray emitting substances, including strontium. The water was taken from about 7 meters deep, where groundwater is flowing.
Last month, TEPCO discovered more than 300 tons of contaminated water had leaked from the tank. Company officials said some of the water may have reached the sea.

Rep. Alan Grayson: Syria is not our responsibility

The congressional debate to get involved in Syria continued on Capitol Hill on Thursday, and while President Obama is at the G-20 summit in Russia, lawmakers from both sides showed their support for and against the proposed efforts. The motion to implement strikes on the Syrian regime for allegedly using chemical weapons on its own people moved forward on Wednesday when the United States Senate of Foreign Relations Committee authorized involvement in the Middle Eastern country. But Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) said he will do his best to influence other lawmakers that this isn't our problem. He joins us now to explain his position.

Rush Limbaugh on Syria: How Does It Feel To Agree With A Former KGB Agent Over Your Own President?

9/5/13 - The news out today is that Russia has compiled a 100-page report of evidence that the Syrian rebels used chemical weapons, not the Assad regime. Even the NY Times documents the brutality of the Syrian rebels today, saying it creates a dilemma for the West. So given all of this, plus the fact that Obama and Kerry have lied many times over, Rush laments how difficult it is to have to agree with Russia over the word of our own American president and explains why he feels he must:

John Hogue ~ Future Events - Coast to Coast Am - September 4 2013

Future Events - September 4 2013 - Coast to Coast Am - C2CAM Date: 09-4-13

About the show:

Nostradamus expert and prophecy scholar John Hogue returned to the program to tell us what may be next in our near and uncertain future. He views the period of May 2013 through December 2014 as a "breath before a new plunge in the quickening of history." This window represents the end of a 28-year cycle, with Saturn's returning passage through Scorpio, which has a significant effect on the United States, he said. As karmic bills come due, and systemic flaws (such as climate change) are understood, America will be assessing the kind of future it wants during this time, he explained. If people delay reform and change, then we'll set into motion unconscious behaviors that will plague us during the 2015-2025 period, he continued.

In writing published in July, using astrological methods, Hogue correctly predicted that chemical weapons would be used in Syria. Yet, he believes there isn't definitive evidence that the Assad regime was behind the attacks. He forecasts that eventually we'll learn that the Free Syrian army was stealing the chemical weapons from the Assad army, and that it was al Qaeda/jihadist elements within the Free Syrian army who were trying to create a 'false flag' event to induce the Obama administration to act.

In the short term, America will use Israel to get into a full scale war with Syria through the air from this October through November, he predicted. He further foresees Assad being deposed in 2014, and the world being pushed into a Middle East war that could climax in the 2015-2016 time frame-- Syria is step one, Iran is step two, he noted. Hogue also discussed some of Nostradamus' quatrains, including who the third Antichrist "Mabus" might be, as well as how the Blue Star Kachina in Hopi prophecy could be Comet ISON (coming later this year) or Apophis arriving in 2026.

Turmeric Update

First hour guest, researcher Christian Wilde shared updates on Alzheimer's, cancer, and the supplement turmeric. There are more than 560 health conditions that can benefit from the use of turmeric, and Natural News called it "the most studied and documented photochemical in modern science," he reported. Rates for the top four cancers in the United States are 10 times higher than in India, where the spice turmeric (curcumin) is popularly consumed in curries. According to Wilde, many of cancer's inflammatory pathways are inhibited by curcumin (see chart). Turmeric usage may also play a role in reducing Alzheimer's and dementia by reducing the build-up of plaque in the brain, he added.
